Dallas Shooting Suspect Identified; A 25-Y-O Army Veteran

Micah Xavier Johnson, a 25-year-old Army veteran who reportedly said he was “upset about Black Lives Matter” and “recent police shootings” has been identified as the person responsible for shooting 11 cops, killing five, in Dallas.

{xtypo_dropcap}A{/xtypo_dropcap}ccording to Police Chief David Brown, five police officers were killed and seven were wounded. Two civilians were also wounded in the shootings. Micah Johnson was killed after a police robot detonated a bomb near him following a standoff that lasted several hours.

Despite the reports last night of there being multiple suspects, the police now say that it’s ‘unclear’ if there were any other gunman. Police initially said two snipers positioned themselves in triangulated locations to fire on officers from elevated positions.
