Trinidad — A 21 year old Cascade man who allegedly forced a 12-year-old boy into a vehicle at gunpoint, and sexually assaulted him, has been arrested by police.
The suspect was arrested on Monday around 10 p.m. at the Curepe Branch of KFC.
The attack on the child occurred on Saturday while he was walking in Port of Spain on his way to extra-lessons classes.
Around 9.20 a.m. the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the schoolboy and ordered him into a vehicle.
The suspect allegedly took the child to an unknown location where he allegedly sexually assaulted him.
The suspect allegedly dropped off the boy at Lady Young Road and sped off.
The child sought help and was taken to the Central Police Station where the incident was reported.
Police said the suspect faces charges of common assault, robbery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, buggery and grievous sexual assault.
