The man who opened gunfire inside the Hunts Bay Police Station this afternoon was shot and killed by police officers who return fire upon the attack of a man on the compound.
The police said the gunman, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, went to the police station with the intention of killing a man who was reporting to the station regarding a criminal matter.
His target and a woman were reportedly shot and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
The police have not yet released the identity of the attacker.
Investigations are ongoing.
In a recently situation, a man seemingly to be of unsound mind gave the station a shocking awakening when he managed to sneak pass security and clad himself into a police uniforms and vest. 'Ready for duty'
The man went unnoticed until asked one of the officers at the gun-check point for a $20 coin wearing his vest 'back-to-front' on his bare skin.
