Tragedy struck Monday morning in the rural, farming district of Freeman's Hall in Trelawny, where a four-year-old girl was killed and her father injured in a gun attack at their home.
A family dispute in Trelawny is being theorised as the incident that may have led to the death of a 4-year-old child early this morning.
Dead is Chloe Brown.
Young Chloe was shot to death in Freemans Hall in the parish about 1:30 this morning.
Her 49-year-old father was also shot and injured.
Head of the Trelawny Police, Superintendent Kirk Ricketts says Chloe’s father and uncle had a dispute yesterday during a birthday party.
Superintendent Ricketts says early this morning Chloe’s father was met by gunshots after being called out of his house.
They were taken to hospital where Cloey was pronounced dead and her father admitted in stable condition.
Meanwhile, Superintendent Ricketts says Chloe’s uncle and another possible suspect have been taken into custody.
