Ex-Girlfrend Speaks About Said Abuse Endured From Mr 'Tump ina belly'

A woman who was captured in a video being beaten by her boyfriend has indicated to the police that she will not be pressing charges against him.

In a news release, the police's information arm said officers in Westmoreland intervened after the video of the altercation - which reportedly occurred in the Farm Pen district of the parish - went viral. In the video, the man is seen viciously punching the woman repeatedly.

Both individuals were taken to the police station where they were questioned.

"However, the young woman indicated that she will not be pressing charges," the police said.

In a newly-released video, the couple appears to have done a complete 180 in terms of their social interaction and is the portrait of young love. They even share an awkward kiss as they profess their undying love for each other.

"This man has a history of abusing women," said a woman who wishes to remain anonymous. "Him nearly Kill mi and if it wasn't for the restriction order taken out i would have been a dead woman by now."

"When the law in Jamaica don’t protect women, it made it normal for these monster of men to abuse women . I have family members who currently is an abusive relationship and nothing have been done. I live in the states and called the local police station to report the issue and nothing still haven’t been done," said a woman bashing the justice system of Jamaica.
