'Bus Driver' SLAPPED With Multiple Charges Including Robbery And Illegal Gun

45yrs old Bus Operator, Jermain Reid o/c Short Man/Boss was taken into custody and slapped with three charges after being released from hospital on Wednesday.

Reid was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, assault at common law and resisting arrest, but was granted station bail because he is still recovering from gunshot injuries, and won't be able to manage the Jamaican Jail Cell.

He is to appear in court next month.

Reid was shot and injured after he challenged a police officer in a fist to gun combat after the officer arranged to tow his bus because he breached his road license.

It was later discovered that he has had several previous run-ins with the law, locally an internationally.

Apart from breaches of the road traffic act in Jamaica, Reid has been charged with attempted murder of a police in TCI (Turks and Caicos Island) which he was acquitted, as well as illegal possession of firearm and robbery of a hotel there.

He was given life sentence but after an appeal, he served only two years and nine months before getting deported back to Jamaica.
