Skeletal Remains Found in Sewage Pit in St James – The Fire Department will revisit the scene in the vicinity of the SOS Children’s Village in Lilliput, St James, in an attempt to remove skeletal remains from a manhole.
According to sources, shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 10. persons in the surrounding area started smelling a foul odor coming from the directions of the Man-Hole and went to investigate.
Upon investigating they stumbled upon the skeletal remains in the Man-Hole and alerted the police.
The lawmen along with firefighters went to the scene but due to poor lighting, were unable to removing the skeletal remains from the pit.
A police source told our news team that they will revisit the scene today, Monday, February 11, in an attempt to remove the skeletal remains and to carrying out investigations at the scene.
An autopsy is to be done to possibly gather information about the discovery.
