The partially decomposed body of 44-year-old Karen Cleary was found buried in a shallow grave on property she owned in Boscobel, St. Mary.
Karen Cleary, a Jamaican born beautician from North London, had been missing for 8 days.
She had been building her dream home in the country of her birth when she went missing on Sunday, November 25.
Her body was found buried in a shallow grave on her property in Boscobel, St Mary on Monday afternoon.
Her boyfriend, Andy Kane, later confirmed via Facebook that the body of his lover had been found.
Cleary's body was found wrapped in a tarpaulin in a hole which had been covered with a layer of concrete and dirt.
According to the police, a labourer who was hired by Ms. Cleary to do work on her home on the property was held in connection with her disappearance.
