Missing 14-Year-Old's Body Found Stuffed in Garbage Bag; St Ann

The police are reporting that 14-year-old Raven Wilson, who was reported missing on Friday, was this morning found dead in her community of Top Road, St Ann.

Reports from the St Ann's Bay police are that residents discovered her body about 6:30 am and summoned them.

The responding officers said Raven's body was seen in a garbage bag with a wound to the face.

The scene was processed and the body was removed to the morgue pending post mortem examination.

Raven's father, Loxsley Wilson, said he felt as if he were in a bad dream.

He last heard from his daughter early Friday morning when she sent a text message to remind him about money for fast food.

He was later alerted to her disappearance when the child's mother, Lavern Morgan, called to ask if she was with him.

Morgan described her only daughter as a quiet, loving child who was in turn well-loved and did not deserve such cruelty.

Raven left home about 6:30 am for Ocho Rios High School where she was on the morning shift. She said she knew something was wrong when Raven did not pick up her niece after school.

“Raven nuh duh nobody nothing! Raven just sit down and suck her finger,” Morgan wailed. “Mi would like to ask that man what Raven duh yuh?”

“Raven innocent! Raven go a school. Raven no go out,” the mother said.

Some community members theorise that Raven's killer or killers are from the area.

“I think is someone from the community. Only someone from the community would dump her there,” one resident said.

One family member said he believes someone was trying to send a message as he believed Raven was killed elsewhere and her body dumped in the community.
