A woman was crushed to death in what residents called a freak-accident involving a motor car and a cement truck along the Spur Tree main road in Manchester.

The deceased has since been identified as 62-year-old Paulette Mullings of a Greater Portmore address in St Catherine.

According to reports about 2 pm, Saturday afternoon Miss Mullings, a lone occupant driving a Toyota Corolla motor car in the direction of St Elizabeth, was crushed to death when the drum roller of a cement mixer truck fell off its structure and onto Miss Mulling’s vehicle. She died instantly.
