13-Year-Old Girl's DNA Match Skeleton Remains Found in Kingston
The Half Way Tree Police have reported that forensic testing on the skeletal remains of a female  which were found at Whalley Close in Kingston 6, on Friday morning, July 20, have been confirmed to be the remains of missing 13-year-old Shanoya Wray. The 13-year-old girl went missing from her home on July 15 and an Ananda Alert put out for her.  Further reports were made to the police and following a series of investigations, the two suspects were picked up.

The police further stated that one of the suspects is of a Kingston address, while the other is believed to be a Trinidadian national.

Reports are that shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, residents in Whalley Close stumbled upon the human remains and alerted the police.

Upon arrival, the lawmen carried out a series of investigations and learned that the teenage girl was missing from the area,  and also that she was last seen in the company of the two men.

The two accused were immediately taken into custody. Detectives say both men will now be questioned in the presence of their lawyers by the weekend.
