Cocaine Found in Seven Jamaican Dolls Destined for London

More than $598,000 worth of cocaine has been seized by the Narcotics division.

The seizure was made on Wednesday around 6:00 p.m. following a scan of a shipment at the FedEx warehouse at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA).

Narcotic Detectives were alerted and a total of seven Jamaican dolls destined to London, England were found to contain a white powdery substance resembling cocaine.

The items were taken to the Narcotics Divisional Headquarters where they were further examined and concluded as cocaine weighing half a kilogram.
