Man Accused With Murder of Baby-mother; Wrapped in Tarpaulin, Granted Bail

The Kingston construction worker who reportedly confessed to killing his common-law-wife last December at their Crystal Towers Apartment was today granted bail in the sum of one million dollars.

Phillip Brown was offered bail by Parish Judge Andrea Pettigrew-Collins in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court following a successful bail application by attorney Anthony Williams.

Bail was offered on conditions that he surrender his travel documents with a stop order in place, report to the Half-Way-Tree Police Station daily and abide by a curfew order.

Brown was arrested and charged with the murder of 31-year-old Kerry-Ann Wilson, who was reportedly beaten to death and found wrapped in a tarpaulin on December 10.
