A St Elizabeth woman who was held with more than 100 pounds of ganja while driving along the Spanish Town bypass in St Catherine has been granted bail.
Shantel Campbell, 36, of Slight, St Elizabeth granted bail in the sum of $700,000 when she appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday.
Allegations are that on January 4, 2017, a vehicle driven by Campbell was stopped by the police. During a search, ganja weighing more than 100 pounds was found.
Campbell was taken into custody and charged with possession, dealing in ganja and trafficking ganja.
She has been booked to reappear in court on March 3.
