$90K Worth of Cocaine Found in Jamaican Woman’s Suitcase in US

US Customs and Border Protection has reported that $90,000 worth of cocaine was found in a 30-year-old Jamaican woman’s suitcase at BWI airport in Maryland.

{xtypo_dropcap}U{/xtypo_dropcap}.S. Customs and Border Protection in a news release said that officers found nearly 3 pounds of cocaine in the bottom of Trudian James’ suitcase on Monday afternoon.

According to the agency,  Transportation Security Administration officers noticed that the James’ suitcase was unusually thick.

Upon an x-ray scan the cocaine was discovered.

James, who hails from the parish of Hanover, was turned over the Maryland State Police.

James has been charged with several drug offenses; court records do not list a lawyer for James.
