ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Police have confirmed that three men are dead and two firearms have been seized following a shootout between law enforcers and alleged members of the Speculation Gang in St Elizabeth.
A highly placed police source said that about 4:00 pm, the gunmen opened fire on officers during an operation in western St Elizabeth near Brompton.
When the gunfire subsided, three men were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were later pronounced dead.
