FOUR WOMEN AMONG FIVE SHOT IN OLD FOLLY, ST. ANN; 2 DEAD

The St Ann’s Bay police are probing the shooting death of a man and a woman and the injuring of three other people at an illegal party in Discovery Bay, St Ann on Monday, December 27.

Dead are 23-year-old Tamara Kelly of Old Folly in the parish and 21-year-old Rojae Linton of Granville, Trelawny.

Reports from the St Ann’s Bay Police are that about 12:30 am, Kelly and Linton were among a group of people at the party when explosions were heard.

When the shooting subsided, Kelly, Linton and three others were wounded.

They were transported to hospital, where Linton was pronounced dead. Kelly died whilst being treated.

The other three injured individuals, one of whom is a 33-year-old from the United States, are being treated.
