Reggae artiste Jah Cure is today counting his lucky stars after emerging relatively unscathed from a horrific accident Saturday night.
According to reports, the deejay met in an accident in Daniel Town, Trelawny. When contacted, Falmouth police, aside from confirming that the deejay sustained no injuries, did not have much information.
The entertainer was not available for a comment but videos emerging on social media, allegedly from the accident scene, show the entertainer telling several persons who had gathered that another vehicle had crashed into his.
"Mi nuh just crash so innu, is a man do dat to me innu. The problem wid yah so, is dat di man dem love come out pan yuh pan di road," he said. "Me not even wah talk bout it because you see how di man come out pan me."
DAMAGE BEYOND REPAIR
Several persons on the scene could be heard agreeing with the deejay pointing out that the area is a hotspot for accidents.
Persons who had gathered on the scene to assist the deejay lamented that his 2017 Mercedes Benz C63S was damaged beyond repair.
But they comforted him by pointing out that he survived.
Similar sentiments have been expressed on social media by fans of the 'Unconditional Love' singer who, in a post to his Instagram page yesterday, seemed to agree.
"From you have life, you have everything" with the hashtags #alliswell, #jahisgreat and #longlive.
While many persons, including fellow artistes expressed support for the entertainer, others pointed out that Jah Cure had it coming as they felt he had been showboating on social media since purchasing the luxury vehicle back in May.
"This is the same car he was showing off the other day ... sometimes life has a way of humbling you," one user commented. "That's why you no praise vanity fake Ras," another posted.
The car reportedly cost the entertainer a whopping J$30 million.
