Police Investigates Latest Child Porn Video Circulating Social Media

The police, to include detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA), say they are aware of a disturbing video being circulated on social media portraying child pornography and are currently carrying out investigations to determine its origin.

At the same time, the police also implored the public to desist from sharing the video.

“This action constitutes an offence under the Child Pornography (Prevention) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act,” said the police, adding that there is a strong possibility that sharing the video can result in further trauma to the child.

With this, the police urged members of the public in possession of the video to delete it.

'I'm sure if the Jamaican authorities decide to pursue similar action, many of these people circulating these videos will delete them quickly', one commentator wrote, adding, 'of course we know that won't happen'...

One person comment saying 'these wutlis pedophiles on internet should all be strung up. Wretches!' Suh without sharing, how people fi help identify the perpetrator? Can imagine how many squaddies sending it to dem friend's phone.

Just last year, a Jamaican man was imprisoned in the USA for having child pornography on his mobile phone while going through inspection at an airport.
