Gunmen Sprayed House With Bullets in Hanover; 6 Occupants Narrowly Escaped

A family of six barely escape with their lives on Wednesday morning, June 20, after armed men shoot up their family house in Ginger Hill District in Hanover.

Investigators attached to the Kingsvale and Lucea police station stated that, the members of the household which consist of six persons, three adults and three children narrowly missed being killed.

Reports are that shortly after 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the family members were in bed when they were awoken by loud explosions.

Upon investigating, they discovered that armed men were on the outside of the house firing a barrage of gunshots on the concrete and board structured house.

The occupants were forced to take cover underneath their beds to save their own lives. The gunmen then left the scene followed by which residents in the community summoned the police.

Upon arrival, the lawmen remove over a dozen spent shells from outside the house which was damaged in the hail of bullets.

Also, investigators attached to the Lucea CIB Department have related that they believe this latest gun attack could be gang-related.
