'Gully Queen' Shot Dead in New Kingston; Six Spent Shells Recovered

A male homosexual was shot and killed early on Sunday morning in the heart of New Kingston.

The still unidentified man is about five feet seven inches tall, of slim built, dark complexion, and was noticeably clad in a blue dress, black panties, pink socks and a black wig.

A pink purse was also found on the scene.

He was found dead along Barbados Avenue near the intersection with Knutsford Boulevard.

Reports are that about 12:55 a.m., citizens reportedly heard explosions like gunshots and called the police.

On the arrival of the police, the body was seen lying along the sidewalk with gunshot wounds all over it.

He was rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Some six spent shells were found at the crime scene.
