6 Gang Members Killed in Shootout With Police in Falmouth, Trelawny

A total of Six men were fatally shot and killed by a joint police military team after the team intercepted a white Toyota Corolla with armed men aboard who first opened fire at them.

Official reports are that the security forces intercepted men traveling in two motorcars in the Goodwill community about 7:30 pm.

Men jumped from the motor car and opened fire at the team. After the shooting subsided, six men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. These men were later identified to be members of the Ski-Mask Gang.

  5. O/C ‘Fargo’ (Bio Data not yet ascertained).
  6. One unidentified male.

They were all taken to Falmouth Hospital and Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

A constable attached to Mobile Reserve had received injuries to the left hand during the shootout thankfully not by gunshot wounds, he however was treated at Falmouth Hospital and released.

Four firearms were later recovered from the scene.

The Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) has commenced their investigation.
