Teen And Grandmother Charged For Setting 7-Y-O on Fire With Alcohol

A 7 year-old girl who was reportedly set on fire by relatives in Lionel Town, Clarendon, has been hospitalized.

{xtypo_dropcap}A{/xtypo_dropcap}ccording to Head of the Clarendon Police, Senior Superintendent Fitz Bailey, the incident took place on Tuesday.

SSP Bailey explains that rum was spilled on the child and its further alleged that the 17 year-old aunt set the child on fire.

The child's body is said to be severely burnt.

Police have charged the 17 year-old aunt and the grandmother of the child.
