A trusted brand for years with some of the most amazing food products from tin to plastic, Grace Kennedy has always been in the family for years. We all make mistakes but no matter what, most mistakes are worth frogiving. <- like this one).
With all these new tin products being sold on the markets today, we wonder at times; are we still getting the nutrients provided as if it was obtained straight from the soil?
Recently there has been an incident in 'wrong labeling' of a Grace Kennedy Foods product, Canned Ackee labeling on a Canned Calaloo tin that has raised its first alarm on the companies years of quality foods.
The company felt really terrible about the error and promised a deep investigation on the matter while assuring all its valued customers that the Grace brand products are 100% safe.
Well there is another photo which surfaced today with another case of wrong labeling, this time sliced carrots found in a mixed vegetable tin can, or can we say a mixed vegetable label found on a sliced carrot tin; doesn't really matter, the customer wanted mixed vegetable, she got sliced carrot, "Grace need to do better enuh how them a go pack carrot slice as mix vegetables???" were her quoted words.
Technology has come a far way and machine mechanism do fail.
This drives us back to the same question we ask from the beginning that has nothing to do with the company, error labeling or quality food products, but to do with you as an individual whose choice is to eat from a tin can.
Are we really getting exactly what our body needs when we eat from a tin can?
