Prisoners Having 'Cell Parties' And Operating Own Facebook Pages

Several inmates in Guyana"s prisons are operating their own Facebook pages, displaying photos of drugs, and "cell parties" while they are behind bars.

These images were posted by Abdul Andre Azimullah, 34, who is remanded over the murder of Danian Jagdeo, a phone card distributor, on February 8, at Adventure, Corentyne during a robbery.

"BIG UP ALL THE MOTHERS DEM" he says in his facebook posts.

The Facebook posts once again raise serious questions for the Guyana prison service because the inmates aren't supposed to have internet access and cell phones are prohibited in prisons.
